Stray Affections

Book review post by Jenni Phillips

51jEmnk9xTL__SL500_AA240_Stray Affections by Charlene Ann Baumbich is a unique book in that it combines the love of animals, love of family and friends, and love of God in one intertwining story.  It has three unique perspectives from two adult women who have been best friends since childhood and one of their mothers.   It was a very compelling story and kept my interest throughout the book.  There were some elements of surprise and mystery piquing your desire to try and figure out what would happen next.  Because of this, it was a very hard book to put down.  I would highly recommend this novel to someone who is looking for a quick read, but also one that shows how feelings can be misconstrued and misinterpreted, but that above all forgiveness and love for one another can triumph through Him. You can view a video about the book here. You may purchase this book by visiting here.
